We Are The One PH vs. One News

New Channels: Radyo5 One PH on Channel 6 New Rebrand Channels: 5 Plus on Channel 15 One Sports on Channel 61 New Rebrand HD Channels: One Sports HD on Channel 261
In 2017, series of budget cuts were imposed by TV5's management. Among those affected were Radyo5's overnight operations. The network changed broadcast times twice until February 16, 2018, when they made a stable daily 20 hour run (4:00 am until midnight), adding music content during early morning and late-night (except during radio coverage of doubleheader PBA game days). On January 13, 2019, AksyonTV relaunched into an all-sports network, 5 Plus. With this move, simulcast programs of Radyo5 that aired on AksyonTV moved to its new standalone channel at the satellite service, Cignal, that began its test broadcasting on the channel 6 space left by AksyonTV. Meanwhile, 5 Plus, which took over DWNB-TV's terrestrial TV space, moved to Cignal channel 15. However on January 17, 2019, just 4 days after the move, the Radyo5 simulcast channel was reassigned from channel 6 to channel 1, temporarily replacing Cignal's community promotion channel. 5 Plus later took over channel 6, but remained simulcasting on channel 15. On February 18, 2019, new programs were added to the station's official line-up, whilst most of the old programs will be retained. At the same time, the satellite channel counterpart was officially metamorphosed as One PH, with its channel space reassigned to channel 6.
One News' program lineup includes national newscasts, talk shows, business newscasts, and public affairs shows. Several programs from Bloomberg Television, PBA Rush, and Colours are also aired on the channel. Live newscasts are also available via livestream through their Facebook page. Some of the programs will be airing internationally on Kapatid Channel.
